Day 68/Day 69: August 7th/8th

This past week has been a STRUGGLE. I am LOVING what I see when I look in the mirror. You would think this is a positive thing, and it is, except motivation to keep pushing on the hard days... is getting harder. Especially because I feel so happy about where I'm at.
This week I've started to notice I'm having more food cravings that I'm giving in to; low energy that I'm allowing to lead me; and yesterday, aches and pains in my joints that I let dictate my decision to workout. I even questioned if those pains were real, or made up. Am I giving myself excuses to quit? Am I trying to sabotage my own efforts?
I've been in this same position many times. Getting to that point where I'm satisfied with my efforts and want to 'give myself the break I've earned'.
BUT I AM NOT DONE. I have 23 more days left of this challenge. Now is not the time to soften up my game. Now is the time to push myself harder.
This is not a physical game anymore. It's a mental one.
Game on, Michelle. Game ON!
#healthymichelley is having to slay her mental dragons
and push through when motivation is slacking.
I CAN DO THIS!
