Day 12: "BEFORE" PICS

#healthymichelley had a great photo shoot today!

My pictures are done, they look great, but, I'm so confused...

Leaving the photographer's house, my mind was made up. Black marble top was the clear winner. Yes, I liked the pink but black felt a bit more like me, I liked that it matched well and loved that it showed off a lot more of my body. Then my mind started thinking about pink and by the time I got home, I wasn't as sure about the black anymore. Pink had a nice pop to it, it brightened me up, and looked a little more traditional Oxygen.... I don't know!!!


So - I started asking people. More mixed reviews. Next step? I put it out to my Facebook community... A TONNE OF MIXED REVIEWS. But with one coming out a clear winner. Pink. But I'm still not entirely sold. What do you think? I think I need to sleep on it.

Today's workout was a toughie! Compared to the last time I did the crawl-out to push-ups (Inchworms) - these were brutal! I think the suicide planks really burned out my arms on this one. I did 4 rounds in 13:24:33... I'd say it needs some work.


FOOD

Today's Meals

Breakfast: Healthy Pancakes topped with Greek Yogurt & Mixed Berries sprinkled with Cinnamon

Ingredients

2 servings / 169 cals

  • 1 large ripe banana

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon (optional)

  • Cooking Spray or Butter

  1. Mash banana in a bowl using a fork; add eggs, baking powder, and cinnamon and mix batter well.

  2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Spoon batter into the hot butter and cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, 2 to 3 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on the other side, 2 to 3 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter

Lunch (no photo - I was running out the door to get to the photographers!): Smoothie with Spinach , Greek Yogurt, Strawberries, Banana, Peanut Butter and Ice

Snack: Cherries and Almonds

Snack: 4 Avocado Deviled Eggs (In photo above - I ate 4 and shared 2)

Dinner: Yam drizzled with Greek Yogurt and Cinnamon / Beef Pot Roast over Spinach with Carrots

Snack (no photo): Cottage Cheese drizzled with Honey topped with Mixed Berries and sprinkled with Cinnamon.

Beverages: Water / Chocolate Mint Tea
