Day 8: June 8th

FITNESS
I had to do a 1 mile pre-breakfast run... at one point I was feeling a little sick but I got through it.
I walked for the first 100th of a mile / 2 minutes to warm-up. I had the treadmill at an incline of 2.0 and a speed range of 3.5-5.0 for the warm-up.
At the 0.10 mile mark (2:00minutes), I powered up my speed to 6.0 and steadily increased in speed up to 6.7 until I hit the 1.10 mile mark.

By the end of this challenge, I hope to complete an 8:00 minute mile!
As you'll see from the video - today's workout consisted of some bench dips, hamstring/ab rolls and some all-out sprints. This sequence took me 3:18.
If you are going to try those rolls - PLEASE TAKE CAUTION. I tweaked/pulled a glute muscle and it is not very pleasant. Next time I will move a little slower to avoid injury.

Breakfast: 4 Egg Whites Scrambled / Greek Yogurt Cup topped with Nuts & Dried Fruit / Raw Broccoli (yuck) / Cherry Tomatoes
Lunch: Beef Chili served over Iceberg Lettuce / 1/4 Avocado / Cherry Tomatoes
Snack: Cottage Cheese drizzled with Honey / 1/2 Banana
Dinner: Chicken Cacciatore (breast) / Green Beans / Tomato Slices / Balsamic Drizzle
